“Coach Andres” has been coaching soccer for 8 years and is starting his 2nd season with PFC! He started coaching in Columbia in 2016 with a U6 team. After moving to Austin, PFC is the first club he called home. He views football, and being a coach, as a tool and a method of human expression. He’s not only interested in training the athlete, but also in supporting the person behind the player. In this way, the game becomes a powerful mechanism to help individuals find their place and purpose in society. For him, being a coach is the perfect balance between passion and joy, and he feels truly fulfilled when he’s on the field.

Coach Andres is originally from Colombia, and yes, he loves coffee!! He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity and Sports Science. He’s been living in the Austin area for almost 3 years with his wife, Gabi, and their kitty, Mulan.

Favorite Team: Barcelona FC, Colombian National football teams, River Plate, & Atlético Bucaramanga.
