Christopher Northey

“Coach Red” has been coaching soccer for 20 years and is starting his 3rd season with PFC! He is currently a Goalkeeper coach and scout for USYS West Region ODP Boys program, as well as an ODP National staff coach. He formerly was the WPSL coach for El Paso Surf Former, and the UPSL coach for FC Grande in Casa Grande, Arizona. He also spent 10 years at Centennial High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico and the girl’s Varsity assistant coach. His favorite part of coaching is developing young players into all around soccer players.

He played Outside back and Goalkeeper, and had the awesome experience of turning Pro at age 35; playing 2 years in the MASL for the El Paso Coyotes!

Coach Red was born in Sydney, Australia. He is a father to 3 girls and 2 boys. He also has 3 dogs at home named Storm, Dunkin and Pixie; and his favorite candy is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
