The Pflugerville Football Club had the honor of having Glenn Kewley as its Director of Select for the past three years. In those three years, Kewley turned the Select program around tremendously. When he first began, there were 12 Select teams, with four of them being girls teams. Now, the Select program is 24 teams strong, ten of which are female teams! His commitment and diligence to the Select program is credited in helping the program progress leaps and bounds, as well as double in size in the past few years. He even took our Select teams to watch and take part in a Houston Dash game. Several of our players had the opportunity to meet and take photographs with Carli Lloyd and other Dash players! Since then, he’s coached numerous teams and has made lasting relationships with many coaches, players, and their families. Amidst all that, he also ran his own camps through his British Academy of Soccer program. The program teaches the basics and fundamentals of soccer to PFC’s own players, as well as players who are homeschooled and those looking to maintain their soccer skills in the off-season. He has been an inspirational leader, coach, and mentor to all those he’s worked with. His positivity, charm, and vast knowledge of soccer will not be forgotten. Moving forward, he will continue to be a part of the PFC family as a coach for the older Select teams. We thank Glenn Kewley for his service to PAYSL, Pflugerville FC, and the community and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!
