May 8th marked the close of PAYSL’s 2022 spring season. This past weekend, our rec teams played their last games, Academy teams completed their final block, and several of our Select teams advanced to state finals. Amidst the excitement, coaches set aside time to pay tribute to Mother’s Day and took the opportunity to photograph players with their moms. And what better way to bid farewell to the season than with beautiful warm-weather that reminds us of the sweet days of summer.
Our season would not have been a success without the help of many. With an organization as large as ours, it certainly takes a village. There were a great number of people who worked together that we’d like to thank. First and foremost, we want to express our sincerest gratitude to all of our coaches and managers who graciously stepped up and generously gave of their time to help grow and develop our young players. Thank you to our players who trained hard every week, played your hearts out at each game, and showcased your amazing talent. And finally, thank you to our PAYSL and PFC families who showed up week in and week out to support our players, coaches, and teams. Your dedication to our young athletes, the sport, and our league is the reason PAYSL has continued to thrive for the past forty years.
On a final note, we want to wish all our families good health and happiness this summer. May it be a time for healing, recharging, and reconnecting with those you love. We hope you will join us again this fall and we can’t wait to see you back out on the pitch!
ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL.
